Took it to my jeweler and he confirmed this is an older piece based on it's design however the diamonds may have been added later. They are not the old mine cut but brilliant and beautiful. This is a large brooch with a long curled hook used to hang a small pocket watch or even a locket if you wanted. Since it's hidden it gives you the freedom to wear it also just as a brooch. Last photo shows it with a watch but it's for demonstration only and NOT included in this purchase.The diamonds have a color of "H" with very good cut and symmetry. Clarity in all four diamonds range with two VVS, one VS and the last one SI. Since these are bezel set it's difficult to give an exact size measurement since you cannot see the edge. Two are about 3.8mm each and the smaller two are about 2.96mm. It weighs 11.8 grams of solid 14K yellow gold and is in excellent condition free of damage other than the pin seems to have been bent and then straightened out. It works perfectly however.
