My mother received a small pin like this when she was an Avon Representative back in the 1960's. They worked harder then to make that sale. Door to door and lots of parties it took selling their products to receive one of these award pins. This is one of the larger pins, 3/4 inch square with linked A's surrounding a genuine Blue Sapphire set into the center. Marked on the back R,10K and it weighs 1.9 grams. Wonderful, near mint condition. Pin and safety work great.
