Your heart will soar upon gazing at this Victorian marvel. Heavy and extremely well made with reinforced petals, swivel bail, pin with safety catch and long tailed hook. A dreamy luxurious beauty to wear anytime you have a yen for a touch of springtime and utter femininity. The petals appear genuine with soft delicate shades of yellow and white fading into deep lavender, all in matte finish fired on enameling. In the center is a old mine cut genuine diamond in just a little less than a 1/4 carat in size. It's white, sparkling and free of any obvious flaws that I can see, no carbon or ice just gorgeous! In wonderful, very good condition with just a couple of tiny nicks to the edge of the enameling. When viewed with a loupe some appear to just be where the enameling ends and not damage at all so I'm not sure. This is also very versatile able to be worn as a pendant on a chain, a brooch and also with the tail hook it can also be used for a small watch or locket to be hung on. The chain is not included in this sale but may be available. Please inquire if interested. Total weight of this little masterpiece is 10.4 grams and measures about 1 1/4 inch diameter. Notice the hallmarks on the back. There is what appears to be a serial number and also a makers mark but I really cannot make sense of the figures. Absolutely a piece to treasure!
