This is an antique, pre-ban elephant ivory parasol handle from the Victorian era. Has beautiful floral carvings and smooth silky finish. Yellowed from age and touch with evident striation and cross hatch patterns overall. Has some hairline cracks but they are tight and not in danger of breaking. Very usable.Guaranteed genuine elephant ivory. Has a brass top with dark patina and a bit of the broken bamboo handle still left in the top. Most likely Asian made from a time when this were very much in vogue. Measures 6 inches long and 1-1/2 inches at its widest.
