This brooch has a wonderful blend of techniques. The outer ring is in champleve' method with gold gilt and black enamel. The guilloche center is adorned with a hand painted rose, leaves and blue dot accents and sits in a silver gilt frame.
The brooch is not signed but does have two small stars, perhaps a makers mark? Has a clasp with safety, dates around 1930's.
This lovely heirloom brooch is medium in size at 1 3/8" wide x 1-1/4" tall.
In very good condition with all enamels present, chip, scratch and crack free. The metal does have some fine scratches. Overall an amazing piece!
