My father later in life became a gemcutter. I marveled at the time it took to create such beauties so this stone caught my eye immediately. Clear without inclusions, so could be Goshenite, quartz or even lab created. The 15.5" chain is handmade with sterling links. The clasp is stamped with an eagle 3 indicating Taxco. There is a makers name but it is not stamped fully on such a small space so I've not been able to make out the letters. The pendant is two tiered standing 1/2", looking directly appears like flower petals surrounding the stone. Notice there are 11 prongs to hold the stone. Pendant measures about 5/8" diameter with a drop length of 1" including the bail and the stone is about 9.5mm. Overall dark patina but leaving it dark only sets off the stone more. Photos do not do this pendant justice, like wearing a small headlight it sparkles so well with all the extra facets!
