The artist created the roses by deep carving and giving the rose lots of realistic depth and curve to the petals. The larger rose is on a branch with a leaf to side and an opening bud on the other. Measures 1-5/8" long, 1" wide and weighs 5.9 grams. The clasp on the back is mounted with a pegs and glue for securing. Clasp is a hinged T bar with a fold over safety clasp. No chips or cracks and is in lovely condition with light yellowing from age. Circa 1950's. Beautiful little piece!
