These have been restored. When found they had deeply yellowed glue behind the flowers to hold them to the earring finding. While the adhesive was clear originally, years yellowed the glue and ruined the look of these. So they were taken apart and cleaned of the old glue. The deeply carved ivory roses make it difficult to make out the striated lines on the front so while I had them apart I photographed the back that shows the lines as seen in the last photo. Beautifully made and would blend with any other ivory rose pieces like brooches and necklaces. These measure 1" x 5/8" and though not signed they have a patent #156452 in 1950 that show the assignor was B.A.Ballou Jewelry Co. Excellent condition!
