Face has an Aztec or Mayan warrior look. Around the top of the large center piece are round silver balls or beading and then twisted silver border around the bezel frame. The links have Black Onyx cabochons the same matching ball trim on one side and only the twisted wire on the other. The ends of the necklace are oval links and the hook clasp. The reverse side is marked "Silver Mexico" and also has a makers mark of a large W or could even be two V's joined together. Pre-Eagle with no other marks. Though only marked Silver it tests as Sterling or maybe a bit better with the acid turning bright red.
Excellent condition with overall patina. All stones are present and unbroken. Necklace is 17" long and the centerpiece is 2" x 1-5/8", the links are 1-1/2" x 5/8" each and overall the necklace weighs 44.4 grams.
