It was carved by a village native and given as a gift to the original owners visit to Africa. It measures 2" long and 1-3/8" wide. Can be used as a button for a cloak, handbag. Weighs 6.6 grams and has a hand polished silky smooth finish with evident striated lines that are easy to see. The curve in the center is natural to the ivory used and not damage. Beautiful little piece of art!
