Here is a hand carved Alaskan Eskimo Art Tundra Swan brooch from around the 1950s. It measures 2-3/8" wing tip to wing tip and about 1-3/8" from the tip of the beak to the end of the tail feathers. Carved of Walrus Ivory with a soft yellow shade of ivory. The wings and tail feathers have black spots, the beak has a faded black border the eyes are black as well. The pin mechanism has yellowed glue. Overall a wonderful piece in very good condition. Free of cracks or chips.
