Here is a very beautiful vintage medal pendant with the astrological zodiac symbol of the Crab for Cancer. Made of sterling silver with fired on enamel front in a deep red/orange. Hangs on a light 18" sterling Italian twisted rope chain.

The medallion was made by The Thomae Company. The glass enamel is in excellent undamaged condition, and the patina on the silver back is light overall but does have one noticeable nick on the reverse side. The back also has a shiny protective finish.
Has The Thomae Company hallmark on the back with the double T superimposed over a C. The Thomae Company was founded in Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1920 by Charles Thomae. A hard piece to find and perfect for the Cancer birthday June 21st - July 22nd.
